The Service is software providing analytics and visualisation of public blockchain data and information you supply. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Information provided is for informational purposes only. Prism does not make recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Always consult a qualified professional before making investment or tax decisions.
3. No Custody
Prism never holds private keys, never custodies cryptographic assets, and cannot execute transactions on your behalf. If anyone claiming to represent Prism asks for your private key or seed phrase, it is a phishing attempt — do not respond.
4. Read-Only by Design
Connecting a wallet to Prism grants read-only access. Prism cannot move, transfer, or compromise your assets. You can verify the permissions granted to Prism by reviewing your wallet's permission settings at any time.
5. Data Accuracy
Prism aggregates data from multiple sources: RPC providers, block explorers, indexers, and price oracles. Data may lag, may be incomplete, or may contain errors. Always verify critical data on a block explorer. Prism makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed.
6. Performance Calculations
P&L, ROI, and cost basis calculations depend on the accounting method selected (FIFO, LIFO, average cost) and on the accuracy of available transaction data. Different assumptions produce different numbers. Prism's calculations are estimates for informational purposes.
7. Tax Reports
Tax reports generated by Prism are software output, not tax advice. Tax law is complex and jurisdiction-specific. Prism is not liable for the accuracy of any tax filing. Always consult a qualified tax professional.
8. Cryptocurrency Risks
Cryptoassets carry significant risks, including: (a) extreme volatility — you may lose all capital; (b) smart contract risk; (c) counterparty risk; (d) regulatory risk; (e) loss of access risk — losing your seed phrase means losing your funds with no recovery; (f) phishing and social engineering.
9. Past Performance
Historical performance shown in Prism is not indicative of future results. Investments in cryptoassets may result in the total loss of capital invested.
10. Benchmarks
Comparisons to BTC, ETH, S&P 500, or other indices are illustrative and do not constitute investment recommendations.
11. Third-Party Protocols and Data
Prism does not endorse any protocol whose data it displays. Inclusion of a protocol in the Service does not constitute approval or recommendation.
